Queen getting 'frailer' by the day, urged to 'allow' the Crown to someone else

Queen Elizabeth II is coming under the radar of royal experts, who suggest her to give up the Crown.

DAILY Mirror Associate Editor Kevin Maguire, notes the Queen is getting ‘frailer’ by the day and the best decision at the moment is to let her retire from public duties.

Maguire went on to urge the monarchists to take action amid the going crisis. If this shall not happen in time, the expert adds, the royalty could be compromised.

Maquire’s comments after the 95-year-old pulled out of Commonwealth Day and Cop26.

He began: “We saw yesterday, as we saw with Cop26 in Glasgow, the big environment conference, she can’t fulfil those public duties.

“She’s [95], she’s clearly frailer and I think monarchists should think that it would be better for the monarchy if she stepped aside and allow somebody else to come along.

“Nobody else would get to keep a job they couldn’t do, particularly not a job with comes with £86million a year in the sovereign grant.

“They would be asked to make way for somebody else and if you don’t resolve this now with her, and remember her the mother or the Queen Mother lived 101.

“So I know it’s very delicate how you discuss somebody’s lifespan, but the Queen could be here for a number of years before she shuffled off this mortal coil.

“Or Prince Charles, is what 73, we’re going to get into the same position when he becomes king because he’s going to be so elderly he’s going to be the pensioner King.

“There will come a time, pretty rapidly, when he won’t be able to fulfil his duties.”

Queen, who has successfully ditched COVID-19 the past two years, was tested positive in early 2022. While she showed ‘mild symptoms,’ her health has been a topic of concern for people around the world.

Royal biographer Angela Levin told Sky News believes that the monarch’s absence from important events could be due to the possibility of her saving energy for Prince Philip’s Memorial service end of March.

Speaking to Sky News, Ms Levin said: “She still wants to prove she is the monarch and if she doesn’t turn up at these places, it will be increasingly difficult for her.

“Westminster Abbey isn’t ideal because it’s a long walk to where she would sit down.

“I know that they tried to find some way around the back where they could bring her in but it didn’t seem possible because there were stairs.

“I think they have left it. Whether she’s trying to build up her energy and strength so she can manage at the end of March, we shall have to see.”
